What is the SME Package Digital program?
SME Package Digital is a financial support program promoted by the Luxembourg government (via the House of Entrepreneurship and Luxinnovation) that allows Luxembourg SMEs to receive assistance to implement a digital tool to optimize the online communication with their customers and, ultimately, to generate business.
Thanks to the SME Package Digital, you can benefit from professional help and receive the right advice to implement a digital marketing strategy: creation, development and improvement of your website and implementation of campaigns on social networks.

Who is eligible?
- You have a business permit granted by the General Directorate of Middle Classes of the Ministry of the Economy.
- Your company meets the conditions for SMEs in terms of staff, annual turnover, and annual balance sheet.
- Your company has its registered office in Luxembourg.
- Do not carry out any of the professional activities excluded in the general terms of aid to SMEs.
How to proceed
- First, you have to make an appointment with the House of Entrepreneurship who will analyse the specific needs of your company. Following this meeting, and if your company is considered as eligible, it is necessary to select an accredited service provider. Your application for financial aid is completed by a House of Entrepreneurship adviser or by an eHandwierk adviser for craft businesses. In case the Ministry of Economy accepts the allocation of the financial aid, you will receive a confirmation from them. At this point, the service provider can start implementing the proposed digital solution.
- If your company is recently incorporated (within the last three years), you must submit a detailed business plan yo your application.
- The application for financial aid cannot be introduced once the implementation of the project is underway. It must always be introduced in the pre-analysis phase.
- The total quote in relation to the digitization services proposal offered by the accredited provider must be between EUR 6,650 excluding VAT and EUR 25,000 excluding VAT.
- The General Directorate for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the Ministry of the Economy will provide you with a grant of €5,000. Companies will be reimbursed after the package is in place.
- In order to receive financial aid, the invoice(s) for the entire quote must be paid to the service provider.
- Once the service provider has finished providing support, you will receive an evaluation that will enable to determine your level of satisfaction. At that point, the application process will be deemed closed.
